In the Digital Nomad course, you learn video, photography, animation, 3D, music, web development, and programming. Study trips to Tokyo, and Europe offer practical experience and lifelong friends.
Learn, travel, and create – all over the world!
What are we doing?
We learn and explore digital media based on the idea that it doesn’t matter where in the world you are as long as you have a camera, laptop, and wifi. This is a forward-thinking and exciting way to organize your life.
We will live out this philosophy together as a class in a good classroom environment with new friends, be introduced to many different subjects within digital media, and create many creative and exciting photos, videos, websites, music, animations, and games. We will do all this with the excellent facilities at the school and, not least, travel to Tokyo, Japan, and explore Europe.
Subjects:
- Learn to use a camera to take photos and videos
- Edit photos in Lightroom and Photoshop
- Edit videos in DaVinci Resolve
- Create graphics in Illustrator
- Animate in After Effects
- Make music in Ableton Live
- Process sound in Fairlight
- Program and create dynamic websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL
- GAMING and streaming
- Explore and keep up with the latest in technology
- Get inspired by movies, series, anime, and other popular cultural expressions
- Generate money from your digital projects
Trips to Tokyo and Europe
Language
You should expect most of the teaching to be in Norwegian. We do offer to join the Norwegian class one day a week. You should be motivated to put some efford in to learn the Norwegian Language on your own.
Digital nomads are individuals who travel freely while working remotely using technology and the internet. Such individuals typically have minimal material possessions and work remotely from temporary accommodations, hotels, cafes, public libraries, coworking spaces, or recreational vehicles, using Wi-Fi, smartphones, or mobile hotspots to access the internet. Most digital nomads describe themselves as programmers, content creators, designers, or developers. Some digital nomads are perpetual travelers, while others maintain the lifestyle for only a short period. While some nomads travel through multiple countries, others stay in one area, and some choose to travel while living in a vehicle, in a practice often known as van-dwelling. In 2023, there were 17.3 million American digital nomads, an increase of 131% since 2019.
Digital Nomad is for creative and adventurous people. For those who want to learn about video, photography, animation, 3D design, graphic design, web development, music production, and programming.

Planning and carrying out a class trip to Europe is an incredibly exciting and educational experience. In April, when spring blooms across Europe, a week filled with adventure and learning will give you memories for a lifetime. The best part of this trip is that the class gets the opportunity to decide which places to visit, making the journey tailored to your interests.
Europe offers an endless array of exciting destinations. You can explore historic cities like Rome, known for the Colosseum and the Vatican, or Paris, where the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre await discovery. Perhaps the class will take a trip to Berlin, a city rich in culture and history, with sites like the Brandenburg Gate and remnants of the Berlin Wall.
No matter which cities you choose, the trip will provide deep insights into both Europe’s history and culture.
Planning the trip will teach you important skills such as budgeting, organizing travel itineraries, and planning activities that suit everyone. In addition to visiting famous attractions, you can experience local cuisine, explore exciting markets, and partake in unique cultural experiences that can only be found in Europe.
Carrying out the trip also provides practical experiences in teamwork and problem-solving. You will become more independent by navigating new places, using public transportation, and finding the best sights. This will strengthen both the class’s unity and individual skills.
This class trip to Europe is a fantastic opportunity to learn, grow, and have fun!
